I do not have a hail pad.
We got the new trucks in the barn just in time. The broke one window in the door of my of my RV which was just regular window glass not any kind of safety glass like the other windows on the same side of the 5th wheel trailer. I measured one piece of hail that was oval shaped and the long side was 1.25". It was not the biggest I saw but it was the biggest that was closest to the door that I could grab. There was another little hail storm about an hour after this one stopped but I don't remember the time or duration. but it was very short and not very severe. Although the hail fell continuously it never piled up on the ground that I could see. There was a lot of water pooling up everywhere so it melted fast. My neighbor’s house to the north of my station had 5 windows broken in 3 rooms, all north facing windows. |
