Notes: |
Had 10 minutes of rain, then the hail started with ¼" hard clear hail (melting fast), increasing to ½" - the first ½" piece measured was soft and clear, then they became hard. Gradually, the hail became hard and white with the average size 3/8", then mixed clear and white, but all hard. There was a brief break in the hail (maybe 20 seconds?) and then another downpour of ¼" hail, hard and fast, ending at 11:06am. Measured 0.4" depth on the hood of the truck. |
