Notes: |
Hail at registered location was rather light, lasting 5-6 minutes though leaving only scattered stones. Hail was received during a break in the rain with rain before & rain following though no rain while the hail fell. The rain after the hail was actually after the storm moved out with clearing skies (even sunshine) at location & the storm/rain-shaft to the north. 2-miles NE of us (about 6-miles south of Byers) on CR-181 between about CR-34 & CR-38 had more then a foot of hail remaining on the roadway 45-minutes later, some quarter-size most penny-sized, with a few drivers surprised by the quantity 45-minutes after the storm & their cars slid off the road. |
