Temperature dropped noticably just before the rain downpour, within a couple of minutes the hail started. I had to check to see if it was grauple because the temp. was chilly. Because so much of the hail was softer it melted too fast to build up enough for a measured snow amount. There was a very slight breeze; the hail came down hard. I noticed a few leaves off the bushes later in the day. |
