I was not at home when the hailstorm hit, but was about 1.5 miles away at 42.8325, -106.3108. The data are from that location. When I arrived home two hours later, the hail was still on the ground and was the same size as the data reported here. The hail was thick enough in some places to look like snow on the ground. Lots of damaged leaves on the streets and on cars. No apparent denting. |
