this hail event occured during the same rainfall event as my previous report, and lasted about 20 seconds. this hail was spherical-- mostly white encased in a clear coating--some of the larger hailstones had clear pointed projections on one side of the stone. the hail fell sparsely-- hailstones were separted by six or eight inches on the deck. |
