Notes: |
I was not home at the time, my husband was. I arrived home ~40 minutes later. Most of the hail was gone by then. There was ~1/4 inch depth in the grass in a 4" swath on the north side of the fence and more around downspouts from the roof on the north and west side of the house. I noticed mostly white hail with some all clear (5%) and some white centers and and clear outer ring(5%). He said the hail lasted 20 minutes as an estimate. He said 0.5" of rain came in 10 minutes and since he took spotter training, he called that and the hail in to the NWS Boulder office at 3:04 PM. I estimated the start time of the hail/rain at 2:55. |
