In the last 30 days only 0.06 in. of precipitation has fallen here.  The soil is dry and dusty and field plants are very few.  The foot of snow that fell in the Sandia Mountains last weekend is melted and gone.  Fire danger is high in today's record hot and dry weather.  The dewpoint is down to 0° F and the relative humidity is 4% this afternoon.  Our water supply is adequate but water usage is high for watering the gardens and lawns.  Trees are healthy so far this season.
