Beautiful weather began on Tuesday. Cool and comfortable.  Bragging rights type of weather all week.  By Friday, the ground had dried out aided by dry northerly winds. Large containers of flowers were watered on alternate days.  Glyphosate has done its job on the front lawn where tilling and grading are planned.  Area drainage ditches are dry, and bayous are very low due to northerly winds.  Wild birds are getting drinking water from the bird bath and fish pond.
