In spite of almost 7" of rain there is no standing water. The sometimes creek on our property (the headwaters of Isominger hollow) is running well - there was no indication of overflow with the recent rains. The deer are eating everything they can get to with forage limited by winter. The forest trees are starting to bud. It was a bad season (now ended) for maple syrup because of the dry weather.
