Snow and rain over the past week brought the total of 1.4" of precipitation.  Soil is workable, not too dry or wet (that was mid-week, today there is 2" of wet snow on the ground).  Violas are blooming outside, along with some daffodils.  Shrubs and trees are all budding. Bird activity is in full swing. Rivers and streams are running a a higher level than previous weeks. Bears are active.
