Some nice rains over the past week. Totals will help with short-term water needs but the 8" deficit is less impacted. Creeks are flowing and ponds are recovering. Plants are fine with the ample water in the surface soil as they go into dormancy. Unlikely to erase the subsoil dryness during the Winter months, but stopping the decline is a good start.
