Notes:
This past period turned colder with light precipitation in the form of light snow flurries here at this station. A trace of light snow fell through the late afternoon on the 2nd and ended by mid evening. More light snow fell during the wee hours of the morning of the 3rd and ended before daybreak. The morning daylight hours saw more light snow, but only a trace amount. So, I can only report a trace of precip for this period. Currently, the temp is 28F with light snow flurries in the area. Of course, the skies are overcast. The morning low temp was 26F. The dew point temp is 16F with west winds at 8 mph. The wind chill at the airport is 20F. The afternoon forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies gradually becoming sunny. The high temp should be near 33F. Southwest winds will prevail from 3 to 5 mph. Tonight, the low temp will be around 26F with increasing clouds. Calm wind becoming south at 6 mph after midnight.
