Southeastern NH is said to be in a moderate drought. Probably true from a scientific sense. But to a homeowner, the cool fall temperatures and a few days with some light rains, the ground moisture is pretty much near normal or a bit on the dry side. Rain is certainly needed, but I wouldn't classify the area as being in a drought.
