Condition Monitoring Report
Station Number: CT-TL-27
Station Name: Willington 2.7 SE
Report Date: 5/5/2024
Submitted: 5/05/2024 10:23 AM
Scale Bar: Mildly Dry
Description:
Just a bit more than 1/4 inch of rain has fallen since the last report a week ago, producing noticeably drier conditions. Ponding in a nearby open field has shrunk further, and is now confined to just a small area. Fire conditions have now been moderate for the past several days. Warmer temperatures have prompted growth of both grass and newly planted greenery, including lettuce and similar agricultural products. Local reservoir levels remain high, and small animal activity has picked up. Public health reports continue to be positive, and commercial activity remains brisk. With favorable weather, outdoor activities are in full swing.
