The week was up and down, weatherwise, with some sunny, windy weather alternating with cooler, calm weather.  Only a smattering of rain one day with a thunder storm tending the conditions to mildly dry; animals noted were the first hummingbird, a northern mockingbird, a swallowtail butterfly, and a green tailed towhee; lilacs are in full bloom, as are the sand cherries and the flowering current
